This position is located in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG). The office is responsible for conducting and supervising audits and investigations relating to programs and operations of the Smithsonian Institution.
Serves as an auditor of major segments of highly complex individual audits focused primarily on information technology (IT) applications, systems, and processes.
Conducting, reporting, and making recommendations in connection with audits of Smithsonian Institution IT operations and those of its contractors.
Recommends program areas that should be evaluated; assists with drafting suggested plans, objectives, scope, and techniques for those evaluations.
Makes oral briefings on the results of evaluations to top-level officials within and outside the OIG.
