Posting Summary: The Director, HR People Data and Technology is a strategic and critical role designed to manage best in class HR data and technology capabilities and technology and application support services to support the pan-University HR function. This position serves as the HR functional domain expert and provides leadership in understanding core HR business needs. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing all strategic HR technology initiatives at the University. This role directs a technology team to manage existing and new HR technology assets. The incumbent will report to the AVP, HR IMPACT and Decision Support and manage a team of Business & Technical Analysts and People Data professionals.

Required Minimum Level of Education: *Degree Required
Required Specific Degree/Training: Bachelor's degree.
Required Minimum Level of Experience: Extensive - 7 years plus
Required Specific Experience: Seven years of technology management, business intelligence, or data management experience.
Preferred Minimum Level of Experience: Extensive - 7 years plus
Preferred Specific Experience: -Familiarity with cloud-based technology, such as Workday or other applicable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) enterprise platforms. -Experience in software or technology solution development; understanding of SQL and other appropriate programming languages. -Deep understanding of data modeling and principles and methods of enterprise data management. -Strong familiarity with lean principles and other process improvement methodologies. -Overseeing project management, including knowledge of project management concepts and methodologies. -Demonstrated experience leading technical teams or high-performing functional teams. -Ability to articulate, in plain terms, complex concepts to key partners across the enterprise. -Strong vendor negotiation and management skills. -Experience working for a four-year higher education institution and/or an affiliated health system
