The Digital Business Data Strategy Leader is the bridge between Rockwell Automation's digital customer experience and business process needs for data, and the technology and platform capabilities to deliver it. The Data Strategy Leader directs commercial, sales-enabling strategy and operations for product and customer information focused on making Rockwell's customers, partners and businesses successful. Working across Rockwell Automation, the Data Strategy Leader identifies stakeholder requirements for product/customer information, and manages processes, technology and goverance to enable the requirements, including appropriate data architecture, taxonomy and standards, and enriched product content management. This position also plays a leadership role in defining a vision for how Rockwell Automation can leverage data as a strategic asset, and will manage a team focused on supporting a strategic information platform and capability.
Walk the line between business strategy definition and understanding, and data technology/process management and delivery.
Define a vision for product and customer data to drive customer experience and business enablement with focus on personalization and entitlement, establishing a single source of reference for product content (master through enriched), and leveraging data to support new service and business opportunities.
Synthesize the data needs of customer-facing stakeholders and partners into requirements and execution plans.
Act as the organizational steward for product information, establishing overall data framework, rules and governance, and defining technology requirements.
Collaborate with IT/BICoE to drive development of product and customer data models and architecture ensuring completeness, flexibility and scalability.
Be an active and influential voice among functional data owners across the company in driving an enterprise data management vision and strategy.
Lead a team of analysts, data experts and content administrators. Oversee processes, tools and staff to administer and manage enriched product content.
Manage projects according to plan and roadmap, ensuring scope integrity and successful completion.
Work with and manage vendors per agreements, schedules and operating patterns.
Contribute to the Digital Business pillar of identifying trends, insights and best practices around Digital operations, customer experience and technology.
