Cambrian is seeking a disciplined self-starter that will Safeguard Cambrian’s information & system assets by implementing security measures and monitoring networks. Articulate IT compliance issues and associated risks, test and analyze control review scenarios, make recommendations and ensure appropriate oversight of controls are in place. Work closely with the Senior Manager IT Operations as well as the Senior Vice President of Information Systems & Technology as part of the security team and build relationships with key stakeholders such as Internal Audit, and Risk.

As an Information Systems Security Officeryou will:
Work with information security leadership to develop strategies and plans to enforce security & audit requirements and address identified risks
Enforce corporate IT security policies, standards, and guidelines to support corporate IT security governance and strategies
Investigate and track remediation of reported application & infrastructure vulnerabilities
Develop and maintain Splunk Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) queries to Monitor, alert and report on security events
Work closely with IT and development teams to design secure infrastructure solutions and applications
Participate in compliance and audit processes.
Provide Information Security expertise to projects to assess security requirements and controls
Provide management with risk assessments and security briefings to advise of critical issues that may affect organizational security objectives
Communicate with multiple departments and levels of management to resolve technical and procedural information security risks
What this role requires of you:
Minimum of 3 years IT experience with a minimum 2 years of information security experience
Completion of Post-Secondary education in an Information Technology program
Knowledge of IT control frameworks such as: ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT
Strong knowledge of network protocols including: IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, IPSEC and TLS/SSL
Strong knowledge of mainstream operating systems including: Windows, and Linux
Completed or is actively working to obtain one or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to all levels of audience
Works well in a team setting and treats others with respect and courtesy
Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform comprehensive reviews of security information alerts/notifications
