The Office of the Auditor General’s Performance & Information Technology (IT) Audit Portfolio has a new career opportunity for a Senior Manager of IT Audit. Join us and lead the team responsible for performing technology risk and control assessments in IT environments across Provincial Government entities. This role provides challenging opportunities in IT audits (including integrated operational audits). Certification as CISA or CISM or CISSP
assurance engagement experience, including participation in documenting and assessing IT environments, and evaluating risks as they relate to financial statement audits or
demonstrated technical experience and knowledge in the understanding of relational database concepts (Data Analysis and Data Analytics) and competency utilizing PC system software, including knowledge of file transfer software and network configuration, and audit related software such as Oracle Discoverer Plus, SQL and ACL, or
demonstrated competency in the MVS environment for TSO, ISPF/PDF, IOF, JCL, SMS, preferably including working knowledge in third generation mainframe report languages such as Culprit and Syncsort;
A professional accounting designation and experience in conducting financial audits as per GAAS is considered an asset.
An equivalent combination of post secondary education and experience.
