As the Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer, you will design, develop, and manage security services as part of a highly skilled team. You will work with peers to build/buy or integrate solutions that make them consumable, ultimately driving improvements in the security posture of hybrid cloud IT services. You will be part of a world-class security organization and contribute to the security, privacy, and data protection needs of a large enterprise with continually evolving business models.
What You’ll Need to be Successful:
5 to 10 years of US government support experience in a highly technical role developing or launching new security services, technologies, and capabilities BS in engineering or computer science Prior experience implementing NIST 800-53 controls and familiarity with NIST 800-171 CUI requirements A broad background in IT networking, system administration, and software development In-depth expertise in multiple security domain Experience and understanding of development, deployment, and operational environments including private, public, and hybrid cloud models Ability to apply security in these environments to prevent, detect, and mitigate security events Applied knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and tradition development methodologies with relevant experience in all phases of the project life cycle Experience with Python scripting to develop tools, interface with REST APIs, and perform complex cross-system integration and automation Pen testing, vulnerability scanning, incident response, insider threat, and network security skills A zeal for learning and comfort diving into business and technical subjects outside of your comfort zone A team-player with outstanding listening, collaboration, and communication skills Security +, CISSP or CASP certification US citizenship required Great Additional Skills:
Master’s degree in information assurance/security Knowledge of how to integrate with JIRA via APIs Scripting skills such as Python, Shell, and Bash Other cyber security related certifications (CEH, GIAC, OSCP) Ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization and as part of a geographically distributed team Hands on experience testing, calibrating, and deploying scanning tools Senior level documentation, collaboration, and reporting skills Active security clearance Benefits:
