As a member of the professional staff, contributes a high level of specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support department and/or function objectives. Generally works with considerable independence, developing operating plans and related operational processes for own department in alignment with broader business objectives.
Provides leadership and day-to-day management of all IT related internal control functions for all Vacation Ownership business lines. Responsible for the creation of an annual IT Internal Controls program and plan. Interacts with Internal Audit, IT Controls, Information Privacy, Legal and other stakeholders to understand, document, staff and plan for and deliver all IT related items required of the Information Technology department to support audits and reviews by the Principal Independent Auditors, Internal Audit and others. This manager will utilize industry recognized IT internal control procedures and methodologies such as COBIT, COSO, ISO and related standards as required as a framework for all IT Controls related activities. Responsibilities are enterprise-wide (all regions, all brands).
Responsible for understanding which ITGC and application controls are critical to support MVW's SOX compliance and designs reviews to ensure that effective controls remain in place and monitors the company's status of correcting/implementing controls to support SOX compliance, including the company's objective of managing the cost of compliance.

Specific Expected Contributions
Coordinate and track all Vacation Ownership business line audit management action plans and timelines to ensure timely submission to Internal Audit and external Auditors.
Provide support and guidance to ensure adherence to all MVW policy and standards for management and governance routines.
Prepare enterprise reporting and status updates to management for all audit and application recertifications.
Coordinate and provide evidence support for Quarterly internal audits.
Coordinate and provide evidence support for Quarterly external audit needs - Interim SOX, Year-end SOX, Process documentation, New System testing and documentation review.
Coordinate system self-assessments (CSAs)
Responsible for team's execution of all required quarterly and annual application recertification processes
Specific tasks include providing key system screens showing controls inherent in the system; obtaining backup evidence, working with IT personnel to obtain user listings, performing re- certifications of applications.
Serve as liaison to resolve issues between IT and Internal and External Auditors. Seek to highlight business control which mitigates where system controls are not available or too costly to implement.
Perform limited but necessary system audits to ensure propriety of IT controls prior to implementation and follow on audits by internal and external auditors. (e.g. all Vacation Ownership segments, Sales Contracting at sites - System controls, Project Results, Web and Mobile device assessments, etc.)
Staff and Span of Control:
Manages all aspects of IT Controls, multi-disciplined work teams, contractors, vendors, or other similar resources.
May manage small contracts or vendor service agreements. Contributes to establishing organizational (IT/business) objectives
Influences support across various technology and service groups
Manages budget subset. Budgets managed may include base, project, capital expenditures, and vendor budgets.
Drive continuous process improvements to further mature IT Controls management routines through innovation and automation.
Executes tasks against defined MVWC IT Auditing processes; however, collaborates with scope of the position to continuously refine as necessary.
Supports the processes required by MVWP-82 (Security & Privacy Governance)
Supports the processes and objectives of MVWP-12 (Legal & Ethical Steering Committee)
Has regular contact and collaboration with IT counterparts, business management, vendors, professional organization, and consultants.
Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:
Generally a professional position requiring significant knowledge and experience in one or more disciplines and/or business operations as well as associate and/or organizational management experience. College degree and/or relevant experience generally required.
This candidate will have a deep knowledge of general auditing procedures and controls. A minimum of 8 years hands on experience in one form of conducting IT Controls Assessments, Internal Auditing or Internal Controls related experience is required. This candidate will be a self-starter and highly motivated to work independently, not requiring daily/task level supervision. Should have proven experience coordinating deliverables, managing projects and obtaining required items with resources and departments who do not report directly to them. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate will have well developed written and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead associates, resources, projects, etc.
Effectively created audit plans and utilized accepted audit and project management methodologies Established track record of success over multiple efforts
Strong understanding of vacation ownership business and how technology contributes and enables profit, preference, and growth
Basic to working level of budget preparation and expense tracking/allocation Ability to manage effectively in a stable, mature organization
