This position is located in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG). The office is responsible for conducting and supervising audits and investigations relating to programs and operations of the Smithsonian Institution.
Assists with planning audit work, including gaining an understanding of IT processes under audit, making risk based decisions on audit scope, identifying criteria, and creating a test plan.
Conducts, reports, and makes recommendations in connection with audits of Smithsonian Institution Information Technology operations and those of its contractors.
Makes oral briefings on the results of evaluations to officials within and outside the OIG.
