Responsible for Information Security program development and management, IT audit, and investigative and control functions as the designated Chief Information Security Officer.
Education: -Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Business Administration Management, or a related field of study. -Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: -7 plus years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs -5 plus years of experience in a senior leadership role. -4 plus years of relevant experience working with legal and regulatory requirements, such as: Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry/Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), copyright and software piracy, and similar policies and laws. -4 plus years of relevant experience working with common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT as well as those from NIST, including 800-53 and Cybersecurity Framework. -3 plus years of relevant experience in developing information security policies and procedures, as well as successfully executing programs that meet the objectives of excellence in a dynamic business environment.
Equivalent Education and/or Experience: -May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.
Certification/Registration/Licensure: -Must have certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or designation as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). -Prefer certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems (CPHIMS). -Must obtain certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), by ISACA, within one year of job placement. -Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS-700.A: National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction or obtain within 30 days of placement in role. -Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS-100.HCB: Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS 100) for Healthcare/Hospitals or obtain within 30 days of placement in role. -Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS-200.HCA: Applying ICS to Healthcare Organizations (ICS 200) or obtain within 30 days of placement in role.
Skills or Special Abilities: -Must have considerable knowledge of information security and audit/control program development, implementation, and support. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels, ranging from board members to technical specialists -Strategic leader and builder of both vision and bridges, and able to energize the appropriate teams in the organization -Sound knowledge of business management and a working knowledge of information security risk management and cybersecurity technologies -Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations -Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills -Excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives -Project management skills: financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management -Ability to lead and motivate the information security team to achieve tactical and strategic goals, even when only dotted line reporting lines exist
-Experience with contract and vendor negotiations

-High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity
-Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of technology and telecommunications systems, emerging computer and telecommunications technology and applications, system analysis methods, computer systems and applications, to include strategic planning and project implementation principles and practices.
-Must have the proven ability to develop and execute a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plan, including business resumption planning and contingency planning, testing, and auditing of the plans.
-Must be able to work with and build consensus among members of multiple disciplines and across organizational boundaries.
-Must be able to implement and monitor the information technology & security compliance requirements levied by the local, state, and national government agencies as required. -Must have the ability needed to direct technology and information security product acquisitions and direct implementations.
