An opportunity exists for an experienced Digital audit professional to join Air New Zealand's Group Internal Audit team and work in one of the most innovative and complex Digital environments in New Zealand.
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will be an integral member of the Group Internal Audit team, quickly understanding a wide range of business practices, processes and systems whilst identifying and recommending best practice improvements without increasing end-to-end process cost.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Ownership and delivery of the Digital component of the Group Internal Audit annual plan.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the group, particularly within the Digital function at GM, manager and team leader level.
Performing review planning and risk assessments with the guidance of Group Internal Audit management.
Conducting internal audit reviews using applicable professional standards, evaluating current procedures and systems and the overall control framework in relation to these assignments.
Within reviews identifying ways to add value or provide benefit to the Group and its stakeholders and facilitating the implementation of action plans to improve compliance, increase efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate risk.
Acting in an advisory capacity, assisting management in decision making, and influencing improvement in processes.
To be considered you will have at least three years' experience in Digital audit, ideally with a solid training background from one of the Big 4 Professional Services firms or an internal audit function. You will have experience in performing a wide range of Digital audit reviews including IT application controls, general computer controls, and cyber-security; and will have completed or be actively working towards a professional IT audit and/or security certification such as CISA or CRISC. Formal accounting/auditing qualifications would also be desirable.
Your report writing skills will be superior as will your ability to partner with the business, and to rapidly gain credibility with management and stakeholders.
