Plan and execute both operational and IT audits in accordance with department, IIA and ISACA standards.
Conduct process walkthroughs, develop audit programs, and execute testing in accordance with the department’s methodology.
Perform audit procedures to evaluate the condition of financial, operational and IT controls.
Prepare internal audit work papers, in accordance with department, IIA and ISACA standards, and adequately document the results of the work performed.
Assist in the preparation of audit reports making practical and value-added recommendations to improve risk management practices and the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Present or assist in the presentation of findings and recommendations to business unit management.
Perform follow-up reviews of outstanding internal audit issues and assist in the preparation of reporting thereof.
Utilize technology to improve effectiveness and efficiency of audits.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of IT Audit techniques, frameworks, general controls, system architecture and information technology infrastructure.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, MIS, CIS or related area.
1 - 2 years prior internal or external IT audit experience, preferred.
Knowledge of investment management, mutual funds, securities, the complete trade cycle and trading platforms is a plus.
Working towards, intention to obtain, or completed designation in information systems auditing (CISA) desirable.
Strong planning, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in ACL desirable.
