Reporting to the Senior Director of Certification Programs, the Certification Programs Manager assists with creating and/or maintaining the broad PCI certification programs portfolio. In this capacity, the Certification Programs Manager is responsible for various activities in support of the PCI programs and interfaces with the Standards, Assessor Quality Management, Marketing & Communications, and Training Programs teams for the purposes of providing specifications and requirements for various aspects of the programs, and receives feedback from each entity within the normal lifecycle of program management. This position also contributes to various Standards development projects, working groups and/or task forces.
Provides subject matter expertise in the development and maintenance of PCI programs including creation and maintenance of program documentation such as Qualification Requirements and Program Guides
Provides oversight on day-to-day operation of programs, acting as an escalation point/subject matter expert to resolve queries and issues
Works with Marketing & Communications team and Program Managers to ensures Assessors and other program participants receive timely and appropriate communications, including monthly Assessor newsletters, regular Community Meeting events, quarterly Community calls, and ad-hoc communication on new programs and program changes;
Understands the intent of all PCI programs and interactions between programs, able to determine the impact that developments in PCI standards have on PCI programs and vice versa.
Reviews and responds to internal assessment reports and external audits as required;
Provides support to the Senior Director of Certification Programs in preparation for the annual Community Meetings and other events
Contributes to PCI SSC working groups and/or task forces as required providing subject matter expertise on associated programs ; and
Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5 years of data security experience, CISSP, CISM and/or CISA certifications a plus;
Direct payment card industry experience including implementing the PCI Data Security Standard
Project management experience
Experience of working in matrix-managed, remote teams
Strong oral and written communication skills;
A blend of curiosity, creativity, persistence, commitment, passion and optimism;
Knowledge of technology and payment industry trends, participants and leaders;
Methodical and organized, able to manage multiple priorities, projects, and partners concurrently;

Experience developing and maintaining programs in other associations or consortiums
Experience in software development and maintenance, particularly in Agile/DevOps environments
Strong comprehension skills for understanding information security best practices and applying knowledge to PCI requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
