Director of Security and Compliance $87,600.00 – $114,100.00 annually
This position will manage the design, development and implementation of a ministry-wide information security framework as well as ensuring Ministry compliance with Privacy legislation.

Qualifications for this role include:
University degree or post-secondary diploma in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or a related discipline and minimum 4 years of progressive related experience; OR:
An equivalent combination of education, training and 7 years of progressive related experience, as described below.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager in good standing.
4 or more years combined progressive related experience must include ALL of the following:
Experience leading a team focussed on IM/IT security.
Experience developing and/or implementing IM/IT policy and standards, programs and projects related to security and privacy in organizations such as public-sector entities, multi-provincial or multi-national corporations, etc.
Experience conducting security & privacy audits, investigations, and/or other risk management assessments as they relate to software applications and the protection of privacy.
Experience managing confidential issues with tact and diplomacy.
