The Information Security Analyst will work under the direction of the Director of Information Security and Compliance to assist in the day to day operations and support, monitoring, prevention, detection, remediation of information security threats.
Typically, a 4-year Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Security technical certifications are not required for this position, but special consideration to candidates holding GIAC, CEH, CompTIA Security+, and GSEC certifications.
Minimum 1-3 years in information security and information technology supporting enterprise security systems and services.
1+ years of consecutive hands-on experience configuring, utilizing and managing industry leading network security technologies, application, web, database, and host vulnerability technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, security event and information management (SIEM), end-point and email security and DLP technologies.
Demonstrated working knowledge of security related regulations/control frameworks such as PCI-DSS, NISTCSF, GDPR, and/or FERPA.
Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries incorporating complex, highly technical information.
