Looking for a data-lover with strong data management, analysis, and reporting skills to contribute to a variety of strategically important initiatives across the organization. Must enjoy working with data and manipulating it for use in reports and analytics.Will utilize their knowledge and expertise to develop and improve processes and best practices for data handling, cleansing and maintaining data hygiene.Will develop procedures/best practices to ensure new incoming data is clean and accurate.Be well versed in SQL and able to create queries to extract data from multiple sources in support of organization programs.Will participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of a new reporting environment.
Perform data quality assessment, data sources consolidation, aggregation and other data manipulation using SQL statements, code development or enterprise data management platforms
Develop new and maintain existing data transfer processes and documentation from various systems
Develop expert knowledge of current DB architecture and ETL processes and recommend ongoing process improvements
Develop recommendations for data governance and business rules that will lead to improvements in data quality, and follow those recommendations through to implementation
Develop, implement, maintain and perform data hygiene for postal addresses, email addresses, birthdays, deceased and other critical attributes
Stay abreast of data integrity best practice processes, methods and technology tools
Establish and maintain best practices in data governance and appropriate data hygiene
Document all data and reporting processes
Responsible for establishing and maintaining Taxonomy and related reference data
Remain current on new data capture and/or data privacy laws and the impact to the organization
Work closely with the Membership/Marketing teams to ensure new online forms are tested for accurate import of data, coding, source and other necessary field mapping
Maintain solid, communicative and consistent working relationships with department units affected by data integrity issues
Employ expert knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and BI applications to design, execute, and ensure quality of automated reports, dashboards and ad hoc requests for the marketing team and other stakeholders
Develop and maintain queries of various re-occurring and one-time-use mailing/emailing lists to support all marketing campaigns
Perform ad hoc analysis and database querying as needed

Bachelor’s degree in business science, management information systems, business analytics or technology, mathematics, statistics or computer science or related field.
At least 3 years’ experience manipulating large datasets, using databases and 1-3 years’ experience with a general-purpose programming language.
3+ years experience in database management, campaign management, direct and/or email marketing
2+ years relevant work experience in data analytics and data quality
Thorough knowledge of the principles of relational database, data hygiene and data management
Experience with data discovery, profiling, cleansing, standardization and data quality management
Ability to manage data within a complex database is required.
Working knowledge of data quality processes including transliteration, parsing, analysis, standardization and data enrichment
Working knowledge of Master Data Management concepts
Experience with SQL Server 2012-2017
Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of table relationships
Proven ability to query data across structured and unstructured data sets
Strong analytical, problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to think strategically
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively convey complex and data-related concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
Strong documentation skills
Understanding of reporting techniques, tools, and methods, 2+ years of related experience in database reporting
Experience with business intelligence/reporting/analytics platforms such as MS Power Bi and Tableau etc.
Ability to work in a team and individual environment
Working knowledge of Google Analytics
Working knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing cloud
Experience with Address and Database Cleansing tools
Experience with CRM or AMS (NetForum) a plus
Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup functions, index match, IF/THEN statements)
