The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for an IT Auditor for the Internal Audit department. This is a full-time, permanent staff position.
Purpose of the Position: Perform audits of IT areas at UNC Charlotte.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires four year college degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting or other IT-related discipline and at least five years of experience as an IT Auditor.
Essential Job Duties: Perform various types of audits, primarily in information technology areas, but also may include integrated work with operational, compliance, fraud/investigative, and financial elements. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with University departments.
Preferred Qualifications: Must be an excellent communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences. Understanding of multiple technology domains including software development, Windows, database management and networking. Understanding of information security standards, applicable laws and regulations, and awareness of best practices for securing computer systems.
