What You Will Do
The role of the IT Audit Manager is to deliver technology-focused audit assignments as part of a wider team, to verify applications (including their development and support) and infrastructure are effectively controlled and that risks are mitigated. You will be required to participate in the planning and execution of audit assignments in line with the audit methodology, producing findings and draft reports for presentation to Senior Management. The role will report directly to the Director of Internal Audit in Canada, whilst providing support to the Global Head of IT and Change Audit, based in the UK.
This is an exciting new role for the Fidelity Canadian audit team, as we continue to develop an international technology audit footprint. You will join a team with technology audit presence in the UK, Luxembourg, India, Germany and Hong Kong.Working closely with the Canadian business auditors and the broader Fidelity International Limited (FIL) technology audit team, you will have the opportunity to work under the direction of the audit lead or in small groups auditing a specific area of technology, delivering the audit from scope to final report.
It is a key objective of Internal Audit to undertake more audits on an integrated basis i.e. to audit technology-based controls and IT general controls alongside business processes and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape and build these capabilities in Canada and across the FIL group.
Deliver technology-focused audit assignments to verify applications (including their development and support) and infrastructure are effectively controlled and that risks are mitigated.
Participate in the planning and execution of audit assignments in line with the audit methodology, producing findings and draft reports for presentation to Senior Management.
Work alongside business auditors to deliver ‘integrated’ audits including examining application control functionality.
Assist with the development of the integrated audit plan

What We’re Looking For
A minimum of 7+ years experience
IT auditing experience
An IT Audit, Internal Audit, Accountancy or IT qualification / accreditation or to be studying for one
BS/BA in finance or accounting or equivalent experience
Experience of auditing one or more of: operating systems, databases, networks, applications, cloud services, information security, cybersecurity
Experience of auditing systems development and/or delivery projects
External and internal audit or audit-related experience, preferably financial services (i.e., asset management, brokerage)
CPA, CA, CISA or equivalent is an asset
Relocation expenses are negotiable.
