The cyber security team at Eisai is growing! In a newly established role, we are seeking an experienced, energetic, and innovative leader for our Senior Manager & Security Project Management/Identity Governance opening. This role reports directly to the head of the IT Compliance department, which consists of IT Security, Privacy, Quality, and Information Governance. This position is an important diplomat to the rest of the IT organization, and US Commercial and Clinical businesses. The position is responsible for the following:
First, this role will be responsible for managing the planning, management, implementation, and oversight of an Identity and Access Management program across Eisai’s US region. The candidate must have experience deploying Identity and Access Management platforms and tools, modeling the identity life cycle to meet business requirement, and working with stakeholders to assure alignment and value to the business.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for participating in developing and managing the IAM Strategy and road map, as well as translating the roadmap into projects that the candidate will oversee to successful delivery. Participation in the ongoing analysis of risks and control gaps is required to ensure the strategy and roadmap meet the needs of Eisai’s evolving threat landscape.
Second, as the IAM rollout is winding down and shift into maintenance mode, this role will transition to manage other risk, control, and technology programs at Eisai. The IT Compliance team has a pipeline of exciting programs identified in our medium and long term planning roadmap.
The person chosen for this role will be a key leader and trusted advisor in Eisai’s IT department, and gain broad knowledge across security functions, and gain experience working closely with internal and external IT providers, business stakeholders, and company leaders. This role will have a substantial global management component working with our Japan parent company as well as EMEA, China, and India regions.
• Develops strategic approach for IAM and other programs under the Senior Manager’s responsibility; • Develops mission statement, objectives, stakeholder engagement plan and strategic plan for programs; • Leads program design and management working directly with customers and business owners on the integration of requirements; for the IAM program, this includes provisioning, de-provisioning and all aspects of user lifecycle; • Develops methods and framework for selecting the best tools and partners for Eisai to fulfill the needs of programs under Senior Manager’s responsibility; • Regularly reports to management and leadership on status of program, risks, accomplishments, schedule, budget; • Creates partnerships with Eisai team, stakeholders, vendors and partners to develop and manage programs; • Leads the team in maintaining and assessing operational requirements and service issues for improvement opportunities; • Develops enterprise wide standards; develops identity and access management policy and SOPs; • Consults with business units when implementing user roles for new systems; • Leads the team in creating and maintaining the architecture for IAM systems; • Performs additional duties as assigned.
