To help us drive our success into the future, we are looking for a professional support analyst to join our dedicated EDM at our London offices. Job Purpose
ICBC Standard Bank requires a support analyst to work on its core EDM Platform, dealing with client data queries and tasks (both regular and ad-hoc). The candidate will be responsible for monitoring such incoming requests, so good understanding of the Golden Source product is essential. They will be responsible for supporting the core platform and environments. The candidate will also work closely with the program team, coordinating testing and release management. Clear communication, great problem solving and troubleshooting skills are a must. The candidate will be part of the EDM Technical team. Key Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for the lights on support, user data queries, user data management tasks, and maintenance development of in-house systems.
Development of user changes to the businesses GoldenSource implementation (3 rd party product).
Ensure that data tasks, development, and bug fixes are executed in a timely fashion in accordance with release procedures, documentation, and team coding standards.
Develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships, becoming a trusted partner, as well as building relationships with SD and upstream/downstream system owners.
Lead investigation and diagnosis for escalated production issues.
Participate in programs to improve or remediate the EDM environment.
Contribute towards the team culture focused on pro-active awareness and improvement.
Engage with Service Delivery during issues to manage user expectations and provide remediation actions.
Ensure the robustness of systems and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience Preferred Experience :
Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Financial Services
Knowledge, technical skills and expertise
Oracle SQL, PL/SQL (stored procedures, views and functions)
