As the Senior Information Security Analyst, you analyze and make recommendations pertaining to information security, incident response, policies, standards and awareness. You will perform confidential and sensitive systems reviews and investigations which include forensics, penetration and vulnerability testing and/or threat intelligence analytics; as well as, moderate to complex system analysis.
Develop and maintain the penetration and vulnerability testing practice, working with the threat intelligence analytics team.
Provide advisory and risk analysis services for various teams throughout the Corporation.
Assist with the planning and development of controls that manage access to corporate information in a manner which complies with policies and practices.
Manage major security incidents by actively monitoring and assessing vulnerabilities and exploits to ensure preventative measures are taken to protect the business.
Lead the investigation of information security breaches.
Work with the security event management team to investigate new security threats and assist with remediation activities.
University degree or a two-year college diploma in Computer Science or similar discipline.
Completion of one or more of the following Information Security Management professional designations is preferred:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN)
Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
Other information security credentials
Seven years of IT experience with four years supporting Information Security issues and controls along with specific work in penetration and vulnerability testing.
Demonstrated analytical and investigative skills.
Knowledge of emerging security trends and threats.
Knowledge of security and control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27002, ITIL.
Must be available to assist with disaster recovery and business and service disruptions, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required level of security clearance as a condition of employment in this classification: Reliability Status and Secret (Level II) Security Clearance.
