The Office of the County Auditor for Anne Arundel County, Maryland is looking for an advanced and highly experienced and independent information technology (IT) auditor. This position’s primary duties and responsibilities will include:
Establishing IT audit strategies, program and reporting standards for the Office of the County Auditor;
Performing audits of the County’s IT general controls and security controls, and performing application control reviews and testing as a part of financial and performance audits or reviews of programs within the County;
Obtaining data from County systems, and performing data analysis using audit software, such as ACL or IDEA, for audits and reviews, as well as legislation reviews, including the review of the County’s budget.
