Reporting to a Certification Programs Manager, the Certification Programs Analyst assists with creating and/or maintaining the broad PCI certification programs portfolio. In this capacity, the Certification Programs Analyst is responsible for various activities in support of the PCI programs and may interface with the Standards, Assessor Quality Management, Stakeholder Engagement, and Training teams for the purposes of providing specifications and requirements for various aspects of the programs, and receives feedback from each entity within the normal lifecycle of program management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists in the development and maintenance of PCI programs including creation and maintenance of program documentation such as Qualification Requirements and Program Guides
Assists in oversight of day-to-day operation of programs, including investigation and resolution of program related queries and issues
Understands the intent of all PCI programs and interactions between programs, able to determine the impact that developments in PCI standards have on PCI programs and vice versa.
Reviews and responds to internal assessment reports and external audits as required
Provides support to the Certification Programs Manager in preparation for the annual Community Meetings
Helps to ensure Assessors and other program participants receive timely and appropriate communications, which may include developing material for monthly Assessor newsletters, quarterly Community calls, and ad-hoc communication on new programs and program changes;
Develops (and may occasionally present) material for PCI SSC working groups and/or task forces as required on associated programs
Position is remote, Canada, UK, or US locations
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree required (technology-related field a plus)
Strong technical writing skills
Strong spirit of ownership and self-accountability
Resourceful self-starter, able to complete tasks on time and independently while maintaining communication with teammates
A team player who works to advance the overall success of the PCI SSC.
Ability to work effectively in a remote/distributed workforce environment spanning multiple regions and time zones
Ability to think ahead and perceive how different programs interrelate to support the larger mission
Direct payment card industry experience including implementing the PCI Data Security Standard
Minimum 3 years of information security experience; CISSP, CISM, CISA certifications a plus
Minimum 2 years of experience managing programs and program lifecycle
Minimum 1 year of project management experience
Experience working in matrix-managed, remote teams
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Knowledge of technology and payment industry trends, stakeholders and leaders;
Methodical and organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, projects and partners concurrently;
Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word features and capabilities and ability to develop presentation material using PowerPoint and other tools
Ability to achieve professional industry certification(s), if applicable, for specific programs
A blend of curiosity, creativity, persistence, commitment and optimism;
Willingness to travel up to 10%

Experience in information systems audit
Experience with managing certification-specific programs
Experience with software development lifecycle and secure software concepts
Telecommuting is allowed.
