: Information Cyber Security (ICS) is part of Wells Fargo's Technology organization. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, ICS protects our infrastructure, company data, and customer assets while ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and laws.
: Information Protection Technologies (IPT) strategy is to provide a common and reusable suite of authentication and encryption services and methodologies to internal partners and external Wells Fargo customers. IPT is part of Wells Fargo's Information and Cyber Security (ICS) organization. The Appliance/HSM Management & Engineering team within IPT has an Information Security Analyst 5 position available. The selected candidate will join a diverse, motivated and experienced team to work on providing end to end management of all appliances/HSMs for multiple information protection/encryption solutions, coordination to solve business problems, requirements gathering, compliance tracking, reporting etc. as part of the Information Protection Technologies Team.
Research and analysis to ensure all activities are identified and completed to ensure quality results in relationship to corrective actions, patching processes, etc.
Ensure the monthly reporting activities such as capacity planning, configuration drift, tripwire and other monitoring validations for various appliance and HSM infrastructure are timely completed.
Work with partner Engineering Teams to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and adherence to best practices.
Provide end to end coordination of some appliances/HSMs for multiple information protection/encryption solutions by partnering with team members to identify action plans to drive to due dates
Be the liaison with technical engineers for all planning, and conducting the analysis of the most business problems to be solved with automated systems within timelines provided by leadership
Participate in requirements gathering and design documentation as needed
Provide monthly reporting as required such as configuration drift, patch assessments/ no patch evidence for Patch Tracking System
Work with senior engineers on how to utilize various scripting technologies to proactively monitor, alert, report data needed to be in compliance with policies as well as automate current manual processes
Provide technical guidance less experienced staff or new staff and shall receive technical guidance from more experienced staff.
Periodic 24/7 on-call support on rotation basis with other Team Members
Participates in interactions with encryption technology vendors – helps to ensure vendor product engineering is in line with the objectives and security requirements of Wells Fargo
Coordinate with the vendor support teams to ensure issues impacting Wells Fargo are resolved quickly and effectively.
Capable of creating technical/engineering documentation
Participates in interactions with technical, engineering and non-technical partners across the Enterprise for technologies listed above.
Perform engineering tasks and providing tier-3 support for multiple information protection technology products specific to Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and security appliances
Market Skills and Certifications
7+ years of information security administration experience
3+ years of systems engineering and/or support experience with Windows or Linux servers
3+ year of Information Security reporting and analysis experience
2+ years of JIRA experience
1+ years of experience working on problem tickets or technical troubleshooting experience
Must have intermediate to advanced systems engineering experience in medium to large Enterprise environments.
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology
Engineering knowledge & experience with encryption HSM / Appliance products such as Gemalto/SafeNet, Thales, FutureX, Utimaco etc.
1+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
1+ years of experience supporting firmware deployments in medium to large enterprises
Knowledge and understanding of technology server: file encryption technology, encryption key management and information security policies
Ability to be a self-starter and function individually in a fast paced environment
Must be organized and have rigorous attention to detail
Proven written and verbal communication skills with both Business/Management and Technical/Engineering resources
Knowledge/Skills/Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and handle challenging end users professionally
Ability to perform on-call and work after business hours as assigned
Ability to drive to solutions as an individual and to work effectively with the team as well
