Are you an IT Security expert? We have a great opportunity for an IT Security Manager at ICBC. As a key member of the IS management team, the IT Security Manager will have overall responsibility for the development and execution leadership of our IT security roadmap, the security operations team and incident handling. You will work closely in meeting the requirements established by our Information Risk Management team in ensuring standards and best practices are incorporated and executed across our IT organization to meet the information and systems protection objectives for ICBC.
Your key focus and deliverables will include:
Developing and implementing information technology security framework, plan and roadmap in alignment with department policies and standards
Leading information technology security initiatives and projects from inception to implementation/operation
Providing vendor management and oversight on information technology security services and products
Monitoring security and event management for user access.
Overseeing the reporting and analysis of information technology security operational effectiveness
Overseeing the provision of consultation and subject matter expert on information technology security solutions
Managing the day-to-day operations of the team including the units business plan and budget
Successful candidates will have:
Proven experience in IT Security and information risk and/or related fields
Prior success leading technical teams, ideally in a unionized environment
Knowledge of the trends, principles, standards, practices and tools pertaining to the information and technology security field
Knowledge of corporate, mission critical systems environments, computer technology & infrastructure
Professional designation or certification of IT security field such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
