The Supervisor, Cybersecurity will serve as the team lead to our team of security administration analysts. This role will also be a subject matter expert of Tenetï¿½s Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools and processes and a liaison between the analyst team and the IAM team. This role works closely with the Corporate Cybersecurity team, Application Owners and end users to ensure application security requests are correct, compliant and approved based on the least privilege principle. This individual will be a subject matter expert on roles-based access for applications to lead the analyst team in providing Tenetï¿½s users the access they require in a timely manner.
This position is located in Tenetï¿½s Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, Texas.. The supervisor will report to the Chief Information Security Officer, within the Corporate Cybersecurity team.
Managing a team of offshore resources responsible for reviewing, updating, approving application security access requests for existing users, new hires, and terminations using Tenetï¿½s Identity and Access Management tools/applications.
Maintaining designated SLAs by managing team queues and productivity
Handle incoming calls from internal customers and peers in a non-call center environment.
Understanding and working queue and escalations.
Research and troubleshoot access problems and completing tickets and tasks within ServiceNow.
Contribute to building process expertise and ownership of application access approval.
Update and maintain standard operating procedure and process documents on a periodic basis.
Submit drafts for review by stakeholders and IAM leaders, and revise based on feedback.
Liaise with peers in IAM team to ensure consistency in policy language and procedure descriptions.
Work with the Regional Privacy Officer and Tenet Facility Compliance Committee to ensure alignment between information security and privacy practices and programs, including policies and investigations.
Collaborate with management, Privacy Officers, and facility officers to establish governance for the security program
Serve as information security consultant to all facility departments for data security related issues.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting IT security technology solutions and\or services environment.
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role
Experience managing a global team
Bachelor degree preferred. Related job experience may substituted.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other security certification preferred
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience and expertise in working with IAM processes within an organization including Identity Governance, Access Management, Identity Management, Access Certification
Experience with and knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and state security and privacy regulations and compliance with those laws
Experience in providing large-scale technology support services.
Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Team player and ability to collaborate with extended teams across IT and various business functions.
High level of professionalism.
Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills and a strong customer service commitment.
Ability to investigate and solve non-routine problems.
Ability to perform at a high level of effectiveness in a fast pace environment, managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Proactively contribute to increasing the team efficiency by sharing knowledge, providing feedback about best practices, writing tools / utilities.
