We are searching for a detail oriented, healthcare systems analyst to join the Center for Strategic Information Management's (CSIM) enterprise data management team. You'll join a team of data management professionals in developing and maintaining Christiana's Enterprise Analytics Warehouse (EAW), a clinical data asset utilized by Christiana's clinical analytic community system wide. Responsibilities include:
Partner with Christiana's value based care and care management organizations to obtain data from contracted payers and CMS, cleanse, transform and prepare data for loading to the EAW.
Develop, maintain and operate ETL programs using Health Catalyst tools, and or other SQL based ETL tools as appropriate.
Automate data acquisition and integration processes using Python, R and or other tools.
Develop workflows and processes to efficiently operate and monitor data acquisition and integration processes.
Develop clinical data marts making curated data available to the Christiana analytics community using Health Catalyst or other SQL based data mart tools.
Develop project specific data marts as assigned.
Listen to, advise, educate, and assist Christiana's analytics community supporting their successful use of the EAW.
Ideal candidates will possess:
BS degree in relevant technical discipline - science, technology, engineering or math. Highly relevant experience and technical proficiency cans substitute for the education requirement.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Strong technical data warehousing, ETL, and SQL skills
Hands on data acquisition and ETL experience.
Strong process and detail orientation.
Proficiency with Health Catalyst tools a plus, but not required. These tools are easy to learn.
Experience working with health claims data (Commercial, BCBS, CMS, etc.) experience a plus
Excellent collaboration, organization and analytic abilities.
Outstanding problem solver.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
