We’re looking for a Senior Auditor specializing in data analytics to join our Internal Audit team! As part of the Internal Audit team, you will be an integral part of building up our technology enablement and innovation capabilities, focused on developing and executing data analytic processes and technology enablement projects supporting internal audits. You’ll collaborate with strategic business leaders from across major lines of business including Clinical Operations, Finance & Accounting, Information Technology and Health Plan to build a data-based control assurance program that will support organizational risk management.
Location is listed as Oakland, CA but the position is open in Denver, CO; Oakland, NCAL; Los Angeles, SCAL and Seattle, WA.
Coordinate with internal audit and business stakeholders to define requirements for datasets to be used in audit reports, metrics dashboards and internal control and risk-based management reports.
Facilitate data acquisition and extraction with data stewards and subject matter experts across the organization.
Verify and transform collected data sets, prepping data sets for use as part of audit conclusions, in metrics dashboards and management reports.
Utilize tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Audit Control Language (ACL), PowerBI and Tableau, to perform data analysis and create visualizations.
Lead initiative to identify and develop relevant data analytics, data visualization, and continuous auditing/monitoring.
Partner with industry peers in aligning on best practices and participate in establishing industry accepted principles and framework.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Blue Mix.
Knowledge of basic SQL, Java, and/or Python to develop queries and scripts to collect and analyze data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail and the ability to describe findings or analysis techniques to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to think critically, creatively solve problems, prioritize tasks, meet milestones, and work independently, taking vague requirements and transforming them into concise deliverables.
Ability to effectively interact with various levels of internal and external management and build collaborative and trusting relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, as well as co-source and external auditors.
