Requirements

• • Coordinate with internal audit and business stakeholders to define requirements for datasets to be used in audit reports, metrics dashboards and internal control and risk-based management reports.
  • Facilitate data acquisition and extraction with data stewards and subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Verify and transform collected data sets, prepping data sets for use as part of audit conclusions, in metrics dashboards and management reports.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Audit Control Language (ACL), PowerBI and Tableau, to perform data analysis and create visualizations.
  • Lead initiative to identify and develop relevant data analytics, data visualization, and continuous auditing/monitoring.
  • Partner with industry peers in aligning on best practices and participate in establishing industry accepted principles and framework.
  • Promote an environment of empathy, transparency, and respect, striving for the inclusion of all team members and actively engaging in team and company events and learning opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Blue Mix.
• Knowledge of basic SQL, Java, and/or Python to develop queries and scripts to collect and analyze data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail and the ability to describe findings or analysis techniques to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to think critically, creatively solve problems, prioritize tasks, meet milestones, and work independently, taking vague requirements and transforming them into concise deliverables.
• Ability to effectively interact with various levels of internal and external management and build collaborative and trusting relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, as well as co-source and external auditors.
• Executes goals and is proactive and results-driven, flourishes in an entrepreneurial environment and is not afraid to wear multiple hats. 
• Thrives on building from the ground up, craves to learn new skills, and enjoys reaching for the highest performance standards no matter how big or small the task.
• Experience in testing and/or implementing IT, application, and/or manual controls with the capability of incorporating data analytics and automated tools/techniques in executing an audit or continuous monitoring program.
