Within EFT Corporate Risk Technology helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company. We are seeking a Software Engineer to be part of a team that provides reporting for Risk and Compliance across all levels of the organization. Primary responsibilities for the individual in this role will be: - Developing Reports/Dashboards/Applications based on requirements
- Adhere to team standards, processes, work-flows and schedules.
- Provides the strategy and design for projects associated within technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
- Designs, codes, tests, Debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
- Partnering with Business system consultants on providing technical consultation on Business Reporting Requirements
- Evaluate business requirements to provide feedback and estimates to complete work
- Must be comfortable working on multiple, complex issues and projects.
- Participate in production releases as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5 + years of J2EE experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 3+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
- 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 3+ years of Hibernate experience
- 3+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
- 2+ years of web development experience using version 2.0 of Angular or greater
Desired Qualifications
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
- 2+ years of risk and finance regulatory reporting experience
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Agile experience
- Ability to create dashboards and reporting
- Knowledge and understanding of applications related to web design and database design
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Other Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work well with both local and remote team members and partner teams.
- 2+ years of experience in microservices development
