As a Senior Accountant (or Account depending on your years of experience) you will support management’s assertions that appropriate internal controls over financial reporting are identified and documented to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404.  You will be responsible for all aspects of SOX 404 including performing SOX risk assessment and scoping, development and maintenance of process flows and control narratives, internal controls integration, advising on the design and implementation of controls, mitigation of risk, testing of certain controls and remediation of control deficiencies or design gaps for the Company’s entities subject to SOX reporting. 

You will also interact with other employees involved with information technology along with external auditors and process owners to facilitate the completion of annual SOX evaluations and resolution of any identified issues.  You will administer our SOX software as well as educate users, including control performers, process owners, and executives.  Additionally, you will assist with non-SOX internal control items at the company on an ad hoc basis and other tasks to support the Accounting Research or SEC Reporting groups (which may include assistance with accounting research and implementation, SEC reporting, employee benefit plan reporting, or other compliance reporting).
