Our location in Hollywood, FL currently has an opportunity for an Information Security Analyst.
The Information Security Analyst (ISA) will be responsible for the day to day management of the IT security infrastructure, assisting with articulating technical security requirements, monitoring the effectiveness of existing IT security framework, making recommendations for enhancements, and raising the level of security awareness. The role holder will be part of the security team that safeguards the infrastructure and information across the company worldwide. This role involves design, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and configuration of key security services that will enable the business to meet its
strategic goals and initiatives.
The ISA will establish strong collaborative relationships with other groups in the organization and will be responsible for the analysis and creation of detailed technical and functional data specifications, data architecture, security policies and standards, establishing data governance to preserve data integrity and security across the organization.
This job function has accountability for complying with the applicable elements of the Global Quality Framework and the Corporate Quality Management System (QMS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes as per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
Responsibility to understand and maintain awareness of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job.
Design, deploy and manage suite of security tools and services, including, but not limited, to SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, AV, VA scanner, Penetration testing, APTs
Perform vulnerability scans and/or analyze results from vulnerable scans and assist with the remediation as necessary
Report to management concerns of residual risk, vulnerabilities and other security exposures, including misuse of information assets and non-compliance
Conduct security assessments and periodic security audits across Abbott Informatics infrastructure
Provide subject matter expert advice to IT staff in the detection and resolution of security risks
Drive continuous improvement through trend analysis reporting and metrics management
Communicate and report issues, status, and results to senior management
Maintaining ISO 27001 certification
Ensure global compliance with data privacy regulations, including HIPAA, CCPA, and GDPR. Conduct and complete an annual review of required HIPAA regulations and reports
Education / Experience / Skills
4 year University degree/College diploma in the field of computer science and/or information security.
3+ years' security related work experience, preferably with healthcare institution, that you bring to the table
Industry certification such as CISSP, CISSLP, GIAC or other security certification at a similar level
Up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats
Possess over the top problem solving and negotiation skills
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Information Security risk and industry best practices
Have strong domain expertise, implementation and/or integration skills in following areas: IAM, SIEM, IDS/IPS, SOC, Threat Intelligence, Cloud Security, Encryption & Key Management
Utilize your In-depth TCP/IP (and related protocols: ICMP, UDP, ARP, etc.) knowledge including protocol analysis
Apply your OS Hardening experience on Windows and Unix/Linux
Experience in auditing Firewalls/Routers, DNS, FTP, WINS, etc.
