Directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions
Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data
Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements including projections
Coordinating activities of external auditors
Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
Managing the budget process
Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting databases as needed
Must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills and possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Preferred minimum of five years of relevant experience and a BA in accounting or finance. MBA, CPA, CMA or CGMA designation is a plus. Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued.

Salt Creek Ballet is a not-for-profit organization entering into its 35th year of operations. Its mission is to offer high quality dance performances to diverse audiences, to provide high level performing opportunities for area dancers, and to encourage appreciation and awareness of dance to the community at large.
SCB operates a 10,000, square foot facility housing four dance studios located in Westmont, IL. The organization employs artistic and administrative staff, eleven dance instructors, and four pianists. The School includes classes in classical ballet, character, jazz, modern, tap, contemporary, pas de deux, ballet acting, and other classes to enrich a dancer’s capabilities. Instructors are world-class professionals with impressive backgrounds and experience to share.
