Information Technology Auditor UF Health Shands Hospital Central and Northern Florida
As an Information Technology Auditor at UF Health Shands Hospital, one of Forbes’ top employers in Florida, you will serve as the primary technology assessment specialist for our UF Health hospitals in Gainesville, Jacksonville and Central Florida Health.
In this full-time position, you will help our IT teams identify potential security risks and technological inefficiencies for our health system. This role will allow you to:
Perform essential quality control and technical audits to help ensure we remain up to date, compliant and optimally operational.
Assist with organizational risk assessment projects to help identify high-risk areas.
Develop audit scopes and fulfill assigned audits with accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare reports and documentation for all completed audit work.
Identify ways we can continuously improve audit operations and services.
Travel to all Shands facilities throughout Florida, while being domiciled in Gainesville, Jacksonville or Leesburg.
Continue training and education to maintain or enhance your technical knowledge.
We are seeking candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree in information technology, finance, accounting or business and CISA or other IT audit-related certification. The successful applicant should have at least three years of experience in IT auditing (preferably in health care) or at least five years of experience in a related IT security field. Candidates must have experience working within Windows server environments, Oracle/UNIX OS, Oracle/SQL databases and Active Directory. Experience with Epic, PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleSoft HRMS, Kronos, ACL and TeamMate applications is preferred. Additional knowledge of COBIT, NIST, HIPPA, HITRUST and PCI control frameworks is highly desirable. Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license since this position requires frequent travel.
