The ideal candidate for this position will possess seven or more years of experience implementing information security policies on critical infrastructure industrial control systems; have experience administering NIST cybersecurity framework and CISA best practices, including the identification of critical assets and information flows, managing access and system backup strategies, intrusion monitoring, and the development of incident response plan and system recovery strategies; be well-organized and proficient in documenting designs, configurations, and instructions; and demonstrate knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in an OT environment.
The ideal candidate would also exemplify a customer-centric approach within a 24/7 support environment; be able to effectively communicate complex ideas orally as well as in written format to non-technical personnel; and exhibit the ability to work effectively in a team environment on critical projects and under the general supervision by more senior staff.
INTRODUCTION: Human Resources will screen applications and supplemental questionnaires. Candidates possessing the strongest skills and experience for this position will be forwarded to the hiring department for further evaluation and to determine who will be invited to the formal interview process. The candidate hired will be required to pass a drug screening, background check and may be required to pass a job-related physical evaluation.
Training and Experience: A typical way of obtaining the knowledges, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, information systems or a closely related field; and seven years of progressively responsible professional information technology experience involving network/systems infrastructure administration and security; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a government or public utility setting is highly desirable.
