Our mission is to provide information technology leadership, services, and innovative solutions to promote the research, education, and community service goals of the University. UC Irvine's Office of Information Technology is looking for integration support professionals who are passionate about developing and running enterprise web-based systems and services and know the ins and outs of complex high availability systems. You will be working with other driven members of OIT teams to develop UC Irvine's enterprise systems for students, faculty, and staff. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, UCPath/Human Resources IT, the UCPath Integration Support Coordinator, applies professional concepts, department / unit and campus / medical center / OP policies and procedures to resolve a variety of complex issues in one or more IT areas of specialization. Analyzes complex issues. Within defined procedures and practices, determines appropriate action. As the UCPath Integration Support Coordinator, provides support for technical integrations between UCI systems and UCPath as well as UCI local integrations with downstream systems. Plans, designs, implements, and documents integration solutions. Leads and coordinates the development, testing, and deployment of updates to UCI integrations. Responsible for maintaining UCPath MFT workflows for batch file transfer. Coordinates and works with UCPath Center and other OIT teams as required for tasks with dependencies on other OIT resources. Works with the UCPath Functional Support team and other stakeholders on tasks that require functional and technical collaboration and hand-off. Acts as UCI technical lead or co-lead for major UCPath enhancement and stabilization initiatives driven by UCPath Center and works as a liaison to represent UCI. Coordinates and manages UCI technical effort related to planning, analysis, development, testing, and deployment in support of UCPath initiatives. Collaborates with other locations on common challenges and best practices. Provide support for Information Security management for UCPath at UCI. Coordinates UCPath related information security risk assessments, mitigations, and action plans. Ensures UCPath integrations are properly handling sensitive and restricted data. Ability to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Broad knowledge of various areas of IT. Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of how system management actions affect other systems, system users and dependent / related functions. Demonstrated testing and test planning skills. Advanced database querying and modeling skills working with moderately complex databases. Advanced skills associated with programming design, modification, and implementation. Basic knowledge of secure software development. Demonstrated ability to create software specifications. Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture and system integration. Preferred: Demonstrated ability to install software and troubleshoot and repair moderately complex problems with computing devices, peripherals, and software. Understanding of and experience troubleshooting client, server and peripherals-related issues and actions that can be taken to improve or correct performance. Experience in incident response and digital forensics, including data collection, examination, and analysis. Familiarity with data quality and governance issues and requirements. Advanced knowledge of computer security tools, best practices and policies including demonstrated experience securing server-based software. Demonstrated skill at administering moderately complex security controls and configurations to computer hardware, software, and networks. Special Conditions Required: Must pass a background check.
