Associate Director of Data Management - Software Solutions
The Role: You will support the Head of Data Management for Enterprise Solutions, focused on driving strategy within data for the Software Solutions business unit.
As a member of Data Management, you will work to develop, implement and champion S&P Global Market Intelligence's initiatives involving data assets, workflow and technology capabilities critical for our customers in making effective decisions across multiple types and domains.
Such initiatives will deliver impact across the lifecycle of data including: identifying client data needs, sourcing and/or partnering with third-party data and capabilities, driving efficiencies with data delivery, supporting product/platform derived data initiatives and driving revenue growth, in partnership with the Software Solutions business, through exceeding customer expectations. You will be a key participant in designing and developing future state capabilities and a clear roadmap aligned to the overall company functional strategy and goals to ensure our people, process, data, technology and governance needs are accurately assembled and aligned for successful short, medium and long-term execution.

In this role, your success will be contingent upon supporting the Head of Data Management - Enterprise Solutions and facilitate owning and executing on the strategic vision for the data assets to support the Software Solutions business line strategy, driving cross functional stakeholders towards a creative, client-first approach.
Key Roles & Responsibilities: ??? Assist in the development and implementation of a data strategy for Software Solutions that aligns with the overall S&P Global, S&P Global Market Intelligence strategies ??? In collaboration with Client, Product, Sales, Technology and Data stakeholders, ensure the development of a clearly defined data strategy fully aligned to meet and exceed clients' expectations. ??? Ensure deep understanding of client use-cases, workflows and associated products and support the rapid response and resolution of client concerns, inquiries, and commercial conversations. ??? Translate S&P Global Market Intelligence's as well as Software Solutions' strategy into specific actionable goals and targets for the Data organization, while articulating the value (the 'why') ??? Collaborate closely with operations and other data management teams to define specific data, quality, timeliness and comprehensiveness needs, as well as associated data policies and procedures. ??? Ensure the organization is adhering to established project management procedures, including project life cycle and status reporting. ??? Promote active communication to all levels within the organization on the health of projects sponsored by the data organization or involving data in support of Software Solutions projects, including key progress updates to all stakeholders to ensure transparency, especially around risks, content quality gaps and successes. ??? Consult on client business problems, identify data needs and formulate data solutions; create practical development roadmaps, package and present insights to stakeholders at all levels of the business. ??? Foster a people-first environment, while maintaining existing levels of engagement.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: ??? 5+ years of Enterprise Data Management, Product Management, Technology or related field ??? Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple projects at the same time ??? Strong organizational management, business case development, and able to work across business teams to meet deadlines ??? Demonstrated ability to support major initiatives including development and execution ??? Experience supporting customers and being involved in commercial conversations ??? Strong written and verbal communications with an aptitude to present thoughts and ideas to leadership ??? Effective, versatile and willing to take action ??? Uses conceptual, innovative and lean thinking to solve issues ??? A professional, highly dedicated, detail-oriented, and energetic personality, with the ability to work and thrive in a team environment ??? Attentive to detail and quality oriented; ability to execute in a timely and accurate manner ??? Appropriate presentation skills with the ability to take on internal and external presentation responsibilities ??? Experience with detailed project management and leadership reporting ??? High level of expertise in MS Excel ??? Proven knowledge of data use-cases and personas within the Software Solutions space, or similar business a plus ??? Prior involvement with merger combinations/acquisition integration a plus ??? Experience with full product lifecycle a plus

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $88,400 to $142,481. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
