![]() Open Rank Teaching Professor - MPS in Informatics (Toronto) About the Opportunity The College of Professional Studies (CPS) at Northeastern University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track [Assistant/Associate/Full Professor] position in the Master of Professional Studies in Informatics program. The selected Faculty member will be required to teach on-campus graduate-level courses for the program at Northeastern University's Toronto Regional Campus. Instructional areas include, but are not limited to database management systems, information systems, analytics, cloud computing, information security management, and leading and managing technical projects. About the Opportunity Faculty members teach in an online and hybrid environment with a diverse student body. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong teaching abilities and a dedication to continued improvement as an educator. Experience teaching at the master's level, teaching and developing on ground and online courses, and proven success in working with international students are desired attributes. The position is a full-time, open rank, non-tenure track, renewable appointment located in Toronto Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities This full-time faculty member is expected to bring their intellectual and creative capacity to bear in advancement of the program, seeking to serve students by participating in a range of teaching and non-teaching activities that support the advancement of the program. They will teach a full teaching load spread throughout the year and will work with the program office on administrative issues and programmatic projects. Teaching & Curricular Oversight (60% of time)
Teaching and actual course load may vary with other responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to: Faculty & Student Support (20% of time)
Program, Region, and College Support (20% of time)

Supervision This position reports to the Program Lead of MPS in Informatics This is a non-tenure track, annually renewable position. This position requires a flexible work schedule that includes being present on Northeastern Universities' Toronto Regional campus, required evening hours and the possibility of weekend hours. Travel to the University's other Regional Campuses may be required. There may be opportunities to teach overseas.
