The Senior Internal Auditor performs operational, compliance and management audits, consulting engagements and continuous monitoring projects. This position prepares reports of audit findings and makes recommendations for corrective action and may lead the work of an audit team.  The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for independently performing moderately difficult to complex audits, investigations and consulting engagements under the supervision of the Principal Internal Auditor, LACERA, or the Chief, Internal Audit, LACERA.
