Under the general direction of the Lockshop Manager, the security technician maintains, services and installs door hardware, locks, electronic access control equipment and closed circuit television equipment.  As part of the Lockshop team, the technician also maintains the Institutes mechanical hardware, repairing and replacing hardware and cutting keys as needed.  The technician completes work orders and preventive maintenance orders as assigned while delivering a high level of customer service. This position is under the IUOE local 877 bargaining agreement.  A technician holding a Massachusetts low voltage license is compensated at a grade 98 category and a non-license holder is compensated at the grade 97 category.Located in Boston and the surrounding c
