The Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies (CAAS) is administrative home to an NIH Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE). This $12 million, 5-year grant has established the Center for Addiction and Disease Risk Exacerbation (CADRE). Our thematic focus is on the relationship between substance use and chronic disease. We seek to recruit faculty with interests addressing disparities in vulnerable populations and are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate with interest in addressing substance use in high-risk groups, including those experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage and other factors that elevate risk for chronic disease.
