Our Security Guard, also known as our Health Safety Ambassador (HSA) at UCSF Health, plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and secure environment across all UCSF Medical Center facilities. As a frontline representative of the Security Services team, the HSA supports the protection of patients, staff, visitors, and physical assets through proactive patrol, access control, safety surveillance, and timely response to incidents.This position includes specific POST responsibilities, customer-focused engagement, and participation in events or special assignments that require professional security presence and public interaction. The role is also responsible for physically intervening in escalated situations and applying approved physical restraint techniques in
