Join us as an HPC Engineering Intern (DevOps) and get handsâ‘on with the infrastructure that powers largeâ‘scale computing: youâ™ll help automate and harden cluster provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible and container platforms, build and extend monitoring and alerting dashboards to surface performance and health metrics, write and maintain clear runbooks and documentation, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot real production problemsâ”all while receiving mentorship, learning industryâ‘grade tooling, and building tangible projects for your resume.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Level up automation â” Convert legacy scripts into Ansible playbooks to help move our infrastructure toward Infrastructure as Code.
Build a single pane of glass â” Create custom dashboards in Datadog that surface highâ‘level system health and daily highlights.
Refine the playbook â” Update and improve operational procedures and runbooks so daily tasks are clear, accurate, and easy to follow.
Test and debug â” Validate and troubleshoot code and automation to ensure reliable operation of HPC workflows and AI pipelines.
Integrate AI workloads â” Assist with integrating AI algorithms into existing systems and CI/CD pipelines for scientific and production workloads.
Collaborate and learn â” Work closely with engineers, receive mentorship, and document your work so others can reproduce and build on it.
