Description:

 Our client has an immediate need for a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Lead

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is a plus
• 4-6 years of experience 
• Experience with Information Security 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security information and event management policies that proactively identify, mitigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats
• Provide expert knowledge and guidance on the deployment, configuration, and Maintenance of SIEM hardware and software
• Collect and integrate log data from various sources
• Standardize and structure log data for analysis, store, retain, and secure log data
• Design and create use cases based on identified threats and business requirements, Testing, and Optimization for effective threat detection
• Implement automated workflows for incident response to ensure timely and efficient handling of security incidents
• Configure automated alerts and notifications to promptly inform relevant personnel of detected threats
• Integrate threat intelligence feeds into the SIEM system to enhance automated threat detection and response
• Develop and maintain scripts for automating repetitive tasks and processes within the SIEM environment
• Manage and mentor team members, providing guidance and support
• Monitoring and evaluating the MSP delivery performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Generate and present detailed security reports and dashboards for Cyber and IT
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes for SIEM operations
• Work closely with other IT and security teams to ensure comprehensive security log coverage
• Lead the investigation and response to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution
