Assistant Professor in Cybersecurity

Job Description:Metro State University, a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor in Cybersecurity. This is a full-time probationary (tenure-track) position within the College of Sciences, Department of Computer Science and Cybersecurity, and will start on August 17, 2026.Responsibilities:Faculty members are expected to:Demonstrate the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, AI for Cyber, and Secure AI effectively to a post-traditional student population.Curriculum development in Cyber and related areas.Teaching in BS, MS, and/or Doctoral programs.Teach in-person and distance education courses as needed by the department, college, or university.Provide academic and career advis
