Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart in Princeton, New Jersey is an independent Sacred Heart school for boys in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8. We are currently seeking a full-time Information Technology and Networking Specialist to begin in June, 2026.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Information Technology Administrator to join our dynamic team at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart. The successful candidate will be the primary provider for technical support to faculty, staff, and students, maintaining and enhancing the school's IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless connectivity.
Responsibilities:
User Support:
Provide technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students for hardware and software issues.
Collaborate with vendors and support teams to resolve any further technical problems.
Set up, operate, and tear down audio/visual equipment including microphones, projectors, and live streaming tools.
Administration:
Manage budgeting processes, oversee state fund allocations, and ensure accurate financial tracking.
Administer user account management, maintaining data integrity, and access control.
Administer and manage servers ensuring their stability, security, and efficient operation.
Infrastructure Maintenance:
Monitor and support critical technology systems including door access control, security cameras, and phone systems.
Design, implement, and maintain the school's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Plan and coordinate future system upgrades and improvements.
Educational Technology:
Collaborate with junior kindergarten - grade 8 faculty to integrate technology into the curriculum effectively.
Assist in the implementation and support of educational software and tools.
Documentation and Training:
Train faculty, staff, and students on cybersecurity awareness, spam/phishing prevention, and best practices.
Develop and maintain clear documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse community.
Proven experience in IT and networking, with a strong understanding of network protocols, security, and system administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an educational setting, particularly in Junior Kindergarten - Grade 8 schools.
Familiarity with educational technology tools and their integration into the learning environment is preferred.
Previous experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring students in curricular, co-curricular, and athletic opportunities.
Familiarity with Google Suite administration, Blackbaud databases, Securly monitoring, and Freshdesk Ticketing.
Familiarity with Cisco Meraki network equipment and Windows Server.
Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
